Introduction

Whether you're just getting started or have years of experience, tracking your bets is one of the most effective ways to understand your performance, build discipline, and make more informed decisions. Without clear records, it's easy to lose sight of how much you’re winning or losing - and where your profits (or losses) are really coming from.

BetTrackr is an Australian bet tracking app that makes this process simple. It brings all your bets and bookmaker balances into one place, automatically calculates your profit and return on investment, and provides insights that help you identify trends, optimise your strategy, and stay in control. You can use BetTrackr in your browser, on your phone with the BetTrackr mobile app, and alongside the Chrome extension.

Getting started

Getting up and running takes three things: create an account, verify your email address, then run the Get started wizard to connect your bookmakers, install the Chrome extension and get the mobile app. The whole thing takes a few minutes, and every part of it can be revisited later.

Creating an account

Signing up is free and no card is required. The form has two steps.

Step one: your details

Enter your first name, your email address and a password of at least 8 characters. Use the eye button beside the password box to check what you have typed. Your email address is checked as you go, so you find out straight away if an account already exists for it.

You must tick the box confirming you are at least 18 years of age and that you agree to the Terms and Conditions - the link beside it opens the terms in full so you can read them before you agree. There is also a human check to complete, which stops automated sign-ups.

If someone gave you a referral code, click Have a referral code? to reveal the box and enter it. The code is checked as you type. Click Continue to move to step two.

Step two: personalise your account

Pick the bookmakers you bet with from the list of common Australian bookmakers. Each one you choose is pre-created as a bookmaker account for you, so your account is not empty when you arrive - you can add the rest, set balances and add any bookmaker that is not on the list later. You can also tell us what type of bettor you are and what you use to track your bets today, which helps us shape BetTrackr around how you actually bet. Neither question is required.

Click Create account to finish. Use Back if you need to correct anything from step one.

Verifying your email address

Straight after signing up, BetTrackr emails you a 6-digit verification code. Type it into the box on the verification page - it submits itself as soon as the sixth digit lands, so there is no button to press. The code can take a few minutes to arrive.

Verification is required. Until your email address is verified, BetTrackr keeps returning you to the verification page instead of opening the app. The Help Centre and the Terms and Conditions are the only other pages you can reach in the meantime. Verifying also starts your 7-day free trial of Premium, so it is worth doing right away.

Accepting the terms

You agree to the Terms and Conditions when you sign up. If your account has not recorded that agreement - for example if the terms have since changed - BetTrackr shows you the terms on your next visit and asks you to accept them before anything else opens. Read them, then accept to carry on. You can read the terms at any time from the link in the footer.

The Get started wizard

The Get started wizard is the guided setup. It opens by itself for a new account, and you can reopen it whenever you like from the yellow Get started button in the header, or from Get started in the profile menu if your screen is too narrow to show the button. Reopening it is safe at any time - nothing is undone or reset.

The wizard has three steps. Move through them with Next and Back, or jump straight to a step by clicking its number along the top. Skip any step that does not apply to you.

The final step: more to explore

Finishing the last step brings up the All done screen, with a short list of things worth trying next. Anything you have already done shows a tick instead of a button.

Bonus bets and bet tags open in the side panel. Use Get started at the top of the panel to come back to the list. Click Done to close the wizard. Your default stake, bet type and targets are in My Account.

The mobile app

BetTrackr is on iOS and Android. It is the same account, so a bet tracked in the browser or by the Chrome extension is on your phone straight away, and a bet added on your phone shows up here. The app can add, edit and result bets, shows every bookmaker's balance, bonus bets and exposure, shares TrackrSlips, and is the only place to get push notifications. Find the store links under Mobile app in the sidebar, or open Account Health on the dashboard, which lists the app as linked once you have signed in on your phone.

Where to go next

Every account gets its own personal import email address. Find it in My Account under Integrations, where there is a button to copy it. Forward a bookmaker's confirmation email or a tracking spreadsheet to that address and BetTrackr imports it for you - handy for bookmakers the extension does not cover. It only works once your email address is verified.

Chrome Extension

The BetTrackr Chrome extension is a companion tool for the Chrome browser that lets you track bets directly from supported bookmaker and matched betting sites - without leaving the page. It also gives you a quick-look popup dashboard from your browser toolbar.

The Chrome extension is a Premium feature - you need an active BetTrackr Premium subscription to sign in to it. It is not installed from the Chrome Web Store: you download it as a .zip file from BetTrackr and load it into Chrome yourself, as described under How to install. The download button below always offers the latest build and shows the current version number. The same download button and version number appear on the Release notes page (Chrome Extension tab), where you can also read what changed in each release.

What the extension does

• Track with BetTrackr buttons - the extension adds a track button directly on bookmaker websites, next to your bet. Click it once to capture the bet details and save the bet to BetTrackr.
• Auto-track and Track All - have the extension track bets automatically as you place them, and on a bookmaker's bet history page use Track All to track every bet on the page in one click (the quickest way to backfill bets you placed before installing the extension).
• Auto-recognition and auto-resulting - when you return to a bookmaker site, the extension recognises bets you have already tracked and updates the result and profit of any the bookmaker has since settled.
• Live Betfair odds - if you have linked your Betfair account, the current back and lay odds for the selection appear underneath the track button, so you can check the market without leaving the page.
• Bet Doctor fixes in the extension - when the details the bookmaker shows do not match what BetTrackr has stored (status, profit, stake or odds), the extension flags the mismatch and lets you apply the fix on the spot.
• Stake types and extra winnings - record whether the stake was cash, a stake not returned (SNR) bonus or a stake returned (SR) bonus, and add extra winnings such as a bonus paid on top of a winning bet.
• Smart bet type detection and bet preview - the extension works out the bet type (for example single, multi, each way or exotic) from the bet slip, and shows you a preview of exactly what will be saved so you can correct it before the bet is sent.
• Tags, events, untrack, error reports and balances - add a tag to a bet, link it to an event, untrack a bet you tracked by mistake, update your bookmaker account balance, and send an error report to the BetTrackr team when a bookmaker page is not read correctly.
• Bonusbank integration - import bets straight from Bonusbank calculators and tools (Back/Lay, Advanced Back/Lay, 2Up and the Dutch calculator).
• TrackrSlips - share a tracked bet as a TrackrSlip from the track button menu on the bookmaker site.
• Popup pages - clicking the BetTrackr icon in your toolbar opens a popup with a dashboard (profit, return on investment, win rate, pending bets, recent results and bookmaker balances), a calendar of your daily results, your bonus bets, a Bonusbank import screen, extension settings, and the changelog for the version you are running.

Verified bets

A Verified bet (the blue tick) is one BetTrackr has matched to the bookmaker's own record of it. It carries the bookmaker's bet ID (the receipt number the bookmaker assigns to the bet), which proves it is a real bet placed at the bookmaker rather than something typed in by hand.

Only official sources can verify a bet: the Chrome Extension, which captures the bet ID straight from the bookmaker's site as it tracks, and official bookmaker connections such as a linked Betfair account over the Betfair API. A bet ID can't be entered or added by hand, so bets added manually, imported from a file or email, or shared as a screenshot are never Verified. That is deliberate: it keeps the Verified tick trustworthy.

Verification is what lets BetTrackr reconcile a bet with the bookmaker's record. Because a Verified bet is tied to the bookmaker's own bet, it can be recognised again and resulted automatically when the bookmaker settles it, keeping its result, profit and your balances accurate without you checking each one. The more of your bets are Verified, the more accurate and hands-off your tracking is - so tracking bets with the extension (including Track All on a bookmaker's bet history page) is the best way to build your record.

Verified status is shown on the extension's track button and on the bet detail in the app.

Supported bookmakers

The extension works on a set list of supported bookmaker sites. The full current list is shown below on this Help page and inside the extension itself, and it grows with each update - so if a bookmaker you use is missing today, check again after the next release or ask the BetTrackr team to add it.

How to install

Download v5.4.0

1. Download the .zip file using the button above and extract it to a folder on your computer that you can leave in place.
2. In Chrome, go to chrome://extensions/.
3. Enable Developer mode (toggle at the top right).
4. Click Load unpacked and select the extracted folder (the one containing manifest.json).
5. Pin the BetTrackr icon to your toolbar - click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome and toggle the pin - then open the popup and sign in with your BetTrackr email address and password.

Keeping the extension up to date

When a new version is required, the extension shows a full-screen update notice and stops working until you update, so you cannot keep tracking on an out-of-date version.

To update, replace the old extension rather than reloading it:

1. Download the latest .zip from the button above (or from the Release notes page) and extract it.
2. Go to chrome://extensions/ and Remove the existing BetTrackr extension. This step matters: reloading over the top of the old folder can leave you on the old version.
3. Click Load unpacked and select the newly extracted folder, then sign in again if prompted and re-pin the icon.

Tracking Your Bets

Staying on top of your betting performance starts with accurate and consistent tracking. Whether you're aiming to refine your strategy or simply understand where your profits come from, BetTrackr offers multiple flexible ways to track your bets - no spreadsheets or guesswork required.

You can view all of your bets at a glance on the Bets page. To record a bet by hand, click the + menu in the header and choose New Bet, or use the New Bet button in the BetTrackr mobile app.

Viewing Your Bets on the Bets Page

The Bets page in BetTrackr lists every bet you've tracked. The filters at the top narrow it by date, bookmaker, bet type and tag, and the All / Pending / Resulted switch picks which bets to show. Can't find a bet? Pick All, set the date to All Time and use Line items.

The row of pills under the filters changes how the list is arranged. It scrolls sideways, so some pills can sit off to the right:

• Line items (the default). Every bet is its own row.
• Linked bets. Bets in the same bet group share a row. Bets that aren't in a group don't show here.
• Events. Bets on the same race or match share a row.
• Event runners. Bets on the same runner or team in the same event share a row, even when they're split across bookmakers. Win, Place, Each Way and Lay bets stay separate. Multis and exotics aren't included.
• Selections. The same runner or team across every event. Multis and exotics aren't included.
• Sports. One row per sport.
• Tracks. One row per racetrack. Only bets linked to a race count.
• Bookmakers, Bet types and Tags. One row per bookmaker account, bet type or tag. A bet with two tags counts under both.

In the grouped views each row shows the combined profit and ROI. Click it to see the bets inside.

The column options control lets you show the Event, Event date, BSP (Betfair Starting Price), Commission, EV (expected value) and Notes columns, all of which are hidden by default. Each row also shows where the bet came from - added by hand, imported, tracked by the Chrome extension, or imported from a TrackrSlip. Tick the row checkboxes to select several bets and delete them together; Delete is the only bulk action on the Bets page.

Importing Bets

Bringing in bets you've already placed? If the bookmaker is one the Chrome Extension supports, the quickest way is Track All: open that bookmaker's bet history page with the extension installed and track every bet on the page in one click. Bets tracked by the extension are Verified and update your balances, which file and email imports don't. See the Chrome Extension help. For bookmakers the extension doesn't support, use the Import screen below.

To open the Import screen, click the + menu in the header and choose Import Bets. It brings bets in from outside the app. Choose a Source from the picker at the top of the screen - the rest of the form changes to suit the source you pick:

You can also track bets automatically from bookmaker websites using the BetTrackr Chrome Extension, and the BetTrackr mobile app can send a bet slip image or a spreadsheet (up to 20 MB) straight to your account from your phone.

What every import does

• Bookmaker accounts are created for you - if an imported bet names a bookmaker you don't have an account for yet, BetTrackr creates that bookmaker account automatically. You can also apply a default bet tag to everything in the import, which keeps a batch of bets identifiable later.
• Dry run - a dry run validates the import and shows you what would happen without saving any bets. It's turned on by default for the spreadsheet importer and off by default for the Bonusbank paste, TrackrSlip and Betfair sources.
• Duplicate protection - imports from Betfair, Bonusbank and the other recognised formats identify each bet by its bookmaker reference, so re-importing an overlapping date range won't create duplicates. A generic spreadsheet you've mapped yourself has no such reference, so importing the same file twice will create the bets twice - use a dry run and check your dates before you commit.
• Import report - imports run in the background and a View last import report link on the Import screen summarises what was imported, what was skipped as already imported, and any errors or warnings. The report lists up to 50 imported bets, 50 already-imported bets, 50 transactions, 100 errors and 100 warnings.
• File size - files uploaded through the app must be under 25 MB. Files emailed in are capped at 20 MB.

Importing Any Spreadsheet or CSV File

BetTrackr's spreadsheet importer can read almost any spreadsheet (.xlsx) or CSV file - you tell it which columns hold which bet details. Choose Spreadsheet or CSV as the source on the Import screen, pick your file, and BetTrackr reads it and helps you line up the columns.

• Automatic detection - if your file matches a known format, it's recognised automatically and the column mapping is filled in for you. Just review it and import. The auto-detected formats are the Bonusbank Bet Tracker, The System Bet Tracker, and Dabble Statement spreadsheets.
• Choose the sheet and header row - for anything else, pick the sheet (for multi-sheet workbooks) and the header row so BetTrackr knows where your column names are.
• Pick the bookmaker - the step headed Which bookmaker are these bets with? lets you nominate a single bookmaker for the whole file. Use it when your spreadsheet has no bookmaker column; if it does have one, map that column instead and every row keeps its own bookmaker.
• Map the columns - match each bet field to a column from your file. Only two things are truly required: Date placed, and a bookmaker (either mapped as a column or chosen in the step above). On top of that you need either Stake and Odds for a normal bet, or Lay stake and Lay odds for a lay bet. Required fields are marked with *. Everything else - event, selection, status, notes - is optional and simply enriches the bets you create.
• Default values - for fields such as Bet type (which starts from your default bet type setting), Status (which starts as Pending), Tags, and the lay bet type and lay status, you can set a default. A default is used when you haven't mapped that field at all, and also for any individual row where the mapped cell is blank.
• Live preview - as you map columns, each field shows a sample value from your file, and a preview shows up to the first 5 data rows exactly as they would be imported, so you can confirm everything lines up before committing.

Leave Dry run on - the import button reads Test import (nothing saved) while it is - to validate your file and preview the results without saving any bets. When you're happy, turn dry run off and import for real. The importer stops reading after 50 consecutive blank rows, so trailing empty rows in your spreadsheet are harmless. Files must be under 25 MB, and a View last import report link summarises what was imported, skipped, or flagged.

Importing Bets by Email

BetTrackr can import a spreadsheet without you opening the app at all - you email the file to your BetTrackr import address. The same address is used for the bookmaker screenshots described in Mobile App Import below.

Your import email address

Send imports to: [email protected]

There are two addresses that work, and you'll normally want the first:

• Your personal import address - every BetTrackr account has its own address in the form [email protected], where the middle part is a 12-character code unique to you. Find it, with a copy button, under My Account then the Integrations tab. Because the address itself identifies your account, mail sent to it is matched to you no matter who it comes from - so automatic forwarding rules and mail sent from a second address of yours both work.
• The shared legacy address - [email protected] still works, but it can only identify you by the sender, so the email must be sent from the exact email address on your BetTrackr account. Forwarded mail generally fails here, which is why the personal address is the better choice.

Your email address must be verified and your account must be active, otherwise emailed imports are ignored without a reply. Only the first attachment of an email is processed, and attachments are capped at 20 MB, so send one file per email.

Emailing a spreadsheet

Email import has no column-mapping step, so it only works for the formats BetTrackr detects automatically - the Bonusbank Bet Tracker, The System Bet Tracker and Dabble Statement spreadsheets. For any other spreadsheet, use the in-app importer described above.

1. Attach a single .csv or .xlsx file and send it to your import address.
2. BetTrackr detects the format and replies with a dry-run report showing the detected format and how many bets would import - nothing is saved yet.
3. To import for real, send the spreadsheet again with the words import for real anywhere in the message body. Capitalisation doesn't matter.

The reply email links to your full import report. Only one import runs at a time across your whole account, so wait for the reply before sending another file or starting an import in the app.

Mobile App Import (Sportsbet, BetR and Dabble Screenshots)

BetTrackr can read a bet slip image shared from a supported bookmaker's mobile app, so you can track a bet from your phone without typing it in. You email the shared image to your BetTrackr import address and BetTrackr reads the bet details off the picture.

1. Open the bookmaker's mobile app and go to My Bets.
2. Select the bet you want to import and tap Share.
3. Email the shared image to [email protected] - your personal import address works from any sender, while the shared legacy address [email protected] must be emailed from your account's own email address.

BetTrackr works out which bookmaker the image came from by looking at the attachment's file name. Some mail apps rename attachments, and if that happens the bookmaker can't be identified - just write sportsbet, betr or dabble in the body of the email to say which bookmaker it is.

The following bookmakers are supported, each with specific requirements:

Bookmaker	Requirements
Sportsbet	Make sure Show stake information is enabled when sharing, so the stake appears on the image.
BetR	Set the email subject to the stake amount (e.g. 5 or 10.50). BetR doesn't include stake information in their image. If you leave the subject blank the bet is still imported, with a warning that the stake is missing - you can fill it in afterwards.
Dabble	Set the email subject to the stake amount (e.g. 5 or 10.50). Dabble doesn't include stake information in their image; a missing stake is imported as a warning rather than a failure. Daily Dabble bets can be tagged automatically - configure this in your User Settings.

Bets imported from a screenshot are not Verified. Only official sources verify a bet (the blue Verified tick) - the Chrome Extension, or an official bookmaker connection such as a linked Betfair account - and there is no way to add a bet ID to a bet afterwards to verify it. For Verified bets at a bookmaker the extension supports, use Track All on that bookmaker's bet history page instead.

Bet Types

The bet type on a BetTrackr bet describes the kind of wager you placed, and it controls which fields the bet form asks for and how profit is worked out. It is separate from the stake type, which records whether you paid for the bet with cash or a bonus bet.

Stake Type - Cash, Bonus SNR and Bonus SR

Every bet in BetTrackr has a stake type that records what you actually paid for the bet with. It sits in the same row as the stake and odds on the bet form, immediately to the right of the stake box.

The stake type is independent of the bet type. Any kind of bet can be funded with a bonus bet: an each way bet, a tote bet or a multi can all have a bonus SNR stake. The stake type is what drives your profit and liability figures and the bonus retention metric - not the bet type - so keeping it accurate matters more than which bet type you choose. If you add a linked lay bet on the same form, that lay side has its own stake type as well.

When you save a bet with a bonus stake type, BetTrackr looks for a matching active bonus bet coupon on that bookmaker account and consumes it automatically, using the coupon closest to expiry first and splitting a larger coupon if your stake only uses part of it. A note under the stake row tells you which coupon will be used. For how bonus coupons are created, tracked and expired, see Bonus Bets & Deposit Bonuses.

Bet Statuses

The status of a bet in BetTrackr records how it was settled. A bet starts as Pending and stays out of your settled profit until you give it another status. Every status other than Pending needs a date resulted, which is what your reports and charts use to place the profit in time.

Bonus coupons created from a bet

When you set a bet to Bonus Refund or Bonus Cash Refund, BetTrackr creates the matching bonus bet coupon on that bookmaker account for you. The coupon is worth the bonus refund amount if you've entered one on the bet form, otherwise the stake. Only one coupon is ever created per bet: editing the bet updates the coupon it already made, and if you delete the coupon yourself BetTrackr won't recreate it. A coupon is also created when a Won bet has extra winnings paid as a bonus bet.

Extra winnings and profit adjustment

Two optional fields on the bet form let you record money that doesn't come from the plain stake and odds:

• Extra winnings (the Extra $ box) - a promotional payout on top of the normal winnings, such as a bonus for a winner that led all the way. It applies to Won bets only. If the extra winnings are paid as cash they count towards your profit; if they're paid as a bonus bet, BetTrackr creates a bonus coupon on that bookmaker account instead, and tells you so before you save.
• Profit adjustment - a manual correction, positive or negative, for anything BetTrackr can't work out from the bet itself. It changes the bet's stored profit and therefore your bookmaker balance, and it is included when BetTrackr calculates the effective odds used for closing line value.

Notes & Expected Value

Each bet in BetTrackr has optional Notes and expected value (EV) fields. Use notes to record additional context about a bet - such as the promotion it's linked to or your reasoning. The EV field records the expected value of the bet in dollars, which feeds into the EV Taken metric on the dashboard for tracking your long-term edge.

You don't have to work EV out yourself. When a bet is linked to an event runner with a Betfair Starting Price, the bet form fills the EV in for you as Stake × (Odds / BSP − 1), negated for lay bets, and keeps it in step as you change the stake or odds - until you type your own figure, after which BetTrackr leaves your value alone. If a bet is automatically resulted and has no EV recorded, the same calculation is filled in at that point.

The EV and Notes columns on the Bets page are optional and hidden by default - turn them on from the column options if you want to see them in the list.

Betfair Starting Price & Closing Line Value

For bets linked to an Event runner, BetTrackr records the Betfair Starting Price (BSP) - the reconciled price on the Betfair Exchange at the moment the market goes in-play. Because it's an exchange price with the bookmaker margin removed, the BSP is widely regarded as the fairest available estimate of a runner's true chance, making it an ideal benchmark for the odds you took.

Comparing the odds you took against the BSP gives your closing line value (CLV):

• Back bets beat the line when your odds are higher than the BSP: Odds / BSP − 1.
• Lay bets beat the line when your odds are lower than the BSP: 1 − Odds / BSP.

For a back bet that won, BetTrackr uses the effective odds rather than the odds you typed in, so that deductions, adjustments and part payouts are reflected in the comparison.

A consistently positive CLV is one of the strongest signs of a genuine long-term edge. A bet is only included when it is linked to an event runner that has a reconciled BSP above zero and the bet has odds above zero. Place bets and each way bets are excluded from CLV, because a win price is not a fair comparison for a place market. The BSP column is hidden by default and can be turned on from the column options on the Bets page; the aggregate Avg. CLV and Beat Line % metrics are available on the Dashboard.

Bet Groups

Bet Groups in BetTrackr let you link multiple related bets together so their profit, ROI (return on investment), and bonus retention are calculated as a single unit. This is essential for matched betting where a back bet and a lay bet form a pair.

There are several ways to create a bet group:

• Back/Lay Calculator - when you save bets from the Back/Lay Calculator, the back and lay bets are automatically grouped together.
• Add Linked Bet on the bet form - when creating or editing a bet, use the Add Linked Bet option to attach a lay bet (or any related bet) directly. The linked bet is added to the same group with its own stake, odds, stake type and bookmaker.
• From a row on the Bets page - the row menu on the Bets page offers Add bet link and Quick add bet to group for joining existing bets up after the fact.
• During an import - imports that carry both sides of a pair group them for you. Bonusbank rows and spreadsheets where you've mapped Lay stake and Lay odds create the back bet and the lay bet already linked.
• Bet Doctor - the Missing Lay Bet Link check in Bet Doctor finds bets that look like they should be paired and offers to link them.

To see a group as one row, pick the Linked bets pill on the Bets page. Each group shows its combined profit. Click it to see the bets inside. In Line items every bet still has its own row.

Group types

BetTrackr assigns the group type itself when the group is created - you don't choose it, and it doesn't change afterwards.

Why bet groups matter

The Bonus Retention metric on the dashboard is calculated at the group level - it compares the total profit of the group against the bonus stake within the group, so you can see how effectively you're converting bonus bets into cash. It looks at the stake type of the bets, not the bet type, so any bet paid for with a bonus bet counts. Pending and voided bets are left out, and a group needs at least two bets and a non-zero bonus stake before it is included in the dashboard figure. The retention percentage shown against an individual group on the Bets page is less strict - it is shown even for a single bet with a bonus stake.

Bet Tags

Bet Tags allow you to apply personal custom categorisation to your bets so their profit/performance can be analysed separately. Some common use cases include: following a professional tipster or punting page, trying out a new strategy, or tracking specific promotions/boosts e.g. "2nd/3rd Money Back", "Neds Backup" etc.

To create and manage Bet Tags, click the + menu in the header and select New Tag. There are three places to apply a tag: on the bet form when you create or edit a bet, from the tag dropdown on an individual row on the Bets page, and as a default tag applied to everything in an import. Tagging a batch of existing bets is done row by row - the only bulk action on the Bets page is Delete.

TrackrSlips

TrackrSlips let you share your bets with others as an image. From any bet in BetTrackr you can generate a shareable picture of the bet, and other BetTrackr users can import it straight into their own account.

• Download the TrackrSlip as an image.
• Copy the share URL to your clipboard - that URL is the image, so it previews wherever you paste it.
• Use your device's native share menu.
• Turn on Sign TrackrSlips in the share dialogue to draw your BetTrackr alias onto the image, so people know whose bet it is.

To import someone else's slip, choose TrackrSlip as the source on the Import screen and paste the URL they sent you. The imported bet is a copy of theirs, recorded as coming from a TrackrSlip, and the bookmaker account is created for you if you don't already have one. A few limits are worth knowing: if the slip shows a back bet and a lay bet, only the first bet is imported; you can't import your own bet back into your own account; and the same slip can't be imported twice.

Automatic Bet Resulting

BetTrackr can settle your pending bets for you. When a bet is linked to an Event and you've picked the specific runner from the dropdown, BetTrackr settles that pending bet once the official result of the event is known.

• Won - your runner won.
• Lost - your runner didn't win.
• Void - the runner was scratched or removed from the event, so the bet no longer stands.

Lay bets are inverted, as you'd expect: if the runner you laid wins, your lay bet is settled as Lost, and if it doesn't win, the lay bet is settled as Won.

Automatic resulting never picks Placed or Dead Heat - those need your judgement, so set them yourself on the bet.

Each way bets

An each way bet is only settled automatically when the runner wins (or is voided because it was scratched). If the runner doesn't win, BetTrackr leaves the bet Pending so you can decide between Placed and Lost - it can't tell from the winner alone whether your runner made the paying places.

Bet types that are never auto-resulted

Some bet types depend on information beyond the winning runner, so BetTrackr always leaves them for you to settle: Exotic Bet, Place Bet, Future/Outright Bet, Player Prop Bet, Line Bet, Multi Bet, Same Game Multi Bet, Same Race Multi Bet and Match Total Bet.

Turning it on or off, and notifications

Automatic resulting is controlled by the Result bets automatically setting in your user settings, which is on by default. Turn it off if you'd rather settle everything by hand.

When bets are resulted for you, BetTrackr sends a notification in the app and, depending on your notification preferences for activity notifications, by email and push as well. You'll also get a separate reminder if a bet is still pending more than a day after its event has been resulted, which usually means the bet isn't linked to a runner or is one of the types listed above. On the pending tab of the Bets page there's a show bets that will be auto-resulted toggle so you can see which pending bets BetTrackr is going to handle and which ones need you.

Bookmaker Accounts

Managing balances across multiple bookmaker accounts is crucial for staying in control of your betting activity. The BetTrackr Bookmakers page shows every account in one place and automatically keeps your balances up to date as you track bets.

It opens on the My Bookmakers tab, with Balance, Exposure, Bonus Balance, Commission Paid and Cashflow widgets above the accounts table; the Discover tab suggests bookmakers you don't have yet. Clicking an account opens its detail panel, with tabs for Overview, Charts, Bets, Bonuses and Transactions.

Adding Bookmaker Accounts

On the Bookmakers page you can quickly add accounts from a list of popular bookmakers, including all major Australian and international brands. If a bookmaker isn't listed, or you hold several accounts with the same bookmaker, create a custom bookmaker account instead.

Account names must be unique across your own accounts rather than per bookmaker, so name same-brand accounts distinctly. A custom bookmaker can be linked to a supported brand later by editing the account and selecting the matching bookmaker; its bets, transactions, bonuses and balance stay with it. Deleting an account deletes its bets, transactions and bonuses too and cannot be undone, so mark accounts you no longer use as inactive instead.

Account status: active, inactive and gubbed

Every bookmaker account is active or inactive, and can also be flagged as gubbed, using switches in the account editor. Active accounts appear in the wallet, in the bookmaker dropdowns on the bet, transaction and bonus forms, and in the Bookmakers table, which filters to Active by default. Inactive accounts keep their history but drop out of those lists until you switch Active back on.

Gubbed means the bookmaker has restricted or limited you. Gubbed accounts are marked with a chip and can be filtered on, so you can see which accounts are still worth using. An Ignore Idle Alert switch stops reminders about an account you have deliberately left idle.

Automatic Balance Updates

When you track a bet, BetTrackr adjusts that bookmaker's balance from the result, so you don't have to update balances by hand. Turn it off with the Automatically update balances setting in your user settings or in the wallet dropdown.

Balances update when you add, edit or delete a bet in the app, when bets arrive from the mobile app or the Chrome extension, when the hourly Betfair settlement sync runs, and when Bet Doctor fixes a bet.

They are not adjusted by file or email imports - CSV and spreadsheet imports, Betfair historical imports, Sportsbet CSV imports, TrackrSlip imports and emailed or scanned bet slips - because those bets are usually already reflected in your balance at the bookmaker. Bonusbank paste and tool imports are the exception and follow your setting. Bets created from an event screen, or by duplicating another bet, also leave the balance alone.

Deposits and withdrawals always update the balance whatever your setting, and you can edit a balance in place in the wallet or on an account's Overview tab.

Bonus Balance (SNR) vs. Bonus Cash Balance (SR)

Bookmaker promotions come as bonus bets, known as SNR (stake not returned), or bonus cash, known as SR (stake returned), and sometimes a mix of both. BetTrackr tracks them separately from real money because they pay out differently, and knowing which you hold is key to calculating your returns:

Linking Your Betfair Account

BetTrackr integrates directly with Betfair through a secure connection to your Betfair account. Once linked, you can:

• Import new bets automatically every hour - off by default, switch it on in the account's Betfair settings.
• Import historical bets with the Import bets (last 3 months) button, choosing a date range up to three months back.
• Sync your Betfair balance and commission discount percentage from the same lookup; balance sync is on by default.
• Place bets from an individual event's detail screen, not from the Events list. Bet placing is hidden by default until you enable it in your settings.

Deposits & Withdrawals

Record deposits and withdrawals against any bookmaker account to keep an accurate transaction history. Each has a type - Deposit or Withdraw - a date, and an amount greater than zero. Transactions always update the bookmaker's balance regardless of your automatic balance setting, and deleting one reverses the change.

To add one, click the + menu in the header and select Deposit / Withdraw (shown as New Transaction in the mobile navigation), or use the Transactions tab of a bookmaker's detail panel. With type Deposit, a deposit bonus section appears so you can record a bonus that came with the deposit; it is hidden for withdrawals.

Bonus Bets & Deposit Bonuses

BetTrackr tracks bonus bets and deposit bonuses as individual bonus coupons on each bookmaker account, so you never miss one before it expires. Every bonus figure in the app - the Bonus column on the Bookmakers table, the wallet bonus total and an account's Overview tab - totals your unused, unexpired coupons.

Adding Bonus Bets

Bonus bets can be added in four ways:

• With a deposit - when adding a deposit transaction, enter a bonus amount and type, SNR (stake not returned) or SR (stake returned), to create a deposit bonus coupon linked to that transaction.
• Standalone - click the + menu in the header and select Add Bonus, or use the bonus link in the wallet, then enter the bookmaker, amount, type, date received and expiry date. The Bonuses tab of a bookmaker's detail panel does the same job.
• Automatically from a bet result - resulting a bet as Bonus Refund or Bonus Cash Refund creates an SNR or SR coupon on that account, dated the day you resulted it. The amount matches the stake unless you enter a different figure in the bet's bonus refund amount field.
• Automatically from extra winnings - on a bet resulted as Won you can record extra winnings paid on top of the normal return, as cash, SNR or SR. Paid as SNR or SR they create a coupon for that amount, which is left out of your cash profit.

Automatic coupons are created once per bet: re-saving updates the existing coupon, changing the bet away from a bonus-refund result removes it, and deleting the bet removes or unlinks its coupons. A coupon you delete yourself is never recreated.

Bonus Bet Expiry

Automatic coupons expire based on your Bonus bet expiry setting - 7 days by default, adjustable from 0 to 365 days in your user settings - while bonuses you add yourself take the expiry date you enter. A coupon's status is worked out from its own data rather than set by you:

Using Bonus Bets

You don't pick a coupon by hand. The bet form has a Stake type selector - Cash, Bonus SNR (stake not returned) or Bonus SR (stake returned) - so choose the one matching how you funded the bet. Stake type is separate from bet type, so a bonus can fund a qualifying bet, multi, each-way bet or any other type, and your stake is never locked to the coupon amount. A badge on the form shows what will be used, such as "2 active SNR bonus coupons ($100.00) will be used".

How bonus coupons are consumed

Coupons are consumed automatically when you save the bet - there is nothing to tick off afterwards. BetTrackr uses your active coupons of that type on that bookmaker, soonest expiry first, so nothing goes to waste. If the stake doesn't match a coupon exactly, the coupon at the boundary is split: the part you used becomes a Used coupon linked to the bet, and the remainder stays Active with the same expiry.

Switching a bet's stake type back to Cash releases its linked coupons and makes them available again, after a warning such as "Saving as Cash will release the linked SNR coupon." Editing a bet that is already bonus-funded never consumes extra coupons.

Expiry Notifications

BetTrackr notifies you about unused coupons expiring within three days, in the app, by email and by push notification on the mobile app. Each line names the amount, type, bookmaker and expiry date - such as "$50.00 SNR at [bookmaker] (expires 14 Aug)" - with a link to the bookmaker's website.

Wallet

The wallet icon in the header navigation shows your money across all bookmaker accounts without visiting the Bookmakers page. It lists every active account that has a balance recorded, largest first, with bonus in its own column, and the icon badge shows the bonus you have available. Cash and bonus totals are shown separately and never added together, because bonus money isn't withdrawable. Balances are editable in the wallet, which also carries the Automatically update balances toggle.

Favourites

Mark an account as a favourite with the star icon, which appears on every row of the Bookmakers table and on the account's detail panel. Favourites sort to the top of lists throughout the app, including the bookmaker dropdowns on the bet and transaction forms. The table is sorted favourites-first by default and can be re-sorted by any column.

Bookmaker Tags

Bookmaker tags categorise and group your bookmaker accounts with custom labels such as "Promo Restricted", "New Account" or "High Priority".

Manage them from the bookmaker itself, not the header menu: open an account's detail panel, open its tag dropdown and choose Edit Tags to create, rename or delete bookmaker tags. Typing a new name into that dropdown creates and applies a tag in one step, and the same dropdown assigns or removes an account's tags. The New Tag option in the header + menu creates bet tags only.

Tags are picked up by the search box on the Bookmakers page, so you can type a tag name to find the accounts carrying it; there is no separate tag filter on the table.

Bookmaker Table Columns

The accounts table shows key metrics for each account at a glance. Here's what each column means:

Above the table sit a search box and filters for Status, Gubbed, Bonus Type, Technology and Licence, with 25 accounts per page and column totals shown for your accounts.

Discover Bookmakers

Discover is a tab at the top of the Bookmakers page, beside My Bookmakers, listing bookmakers you haven't added yet, ranked by popularity - the number of bets placed across all BetTrackr users. It opens automatically if you have no accounts yet.

Each card shows the popularity rank, whether the BetTrackr Chrome extension supports that bookmaker, its technology platform and licence, the most recent deposit bonus amount and the month it was offered, and the launch date for bookmakers launched in the last two years. You can search, sort by popularity, launch date or bonus, and filter to extension-supported bookmakers. Clicking a card opens the new account editor with that bookmaker filled in; the account is created only when you save.

Bookmaker Context

Bookmaker context focuses BetTrackr on one bookmaker account. It is set by following a link or opening a page that carries a bookmaker with it - opening an account from the wallet or the Bookmakers table, for example - and a Viewing: banner at the top of the page names the account. Clear the banner to see all bookmakers again. The floating bookmaker button that used to sit on the side of the screen has been retired.

With a context set, the dashboard and the bets list show only that account's data, the app is tinted in the bookmaker's colours, and the account becomes the default on the new transaction form, the add bonus panel, the back/lay calculator and the bet editor. It does not filter the Events page, which always shows every event.

Events

The Events page lets you browse upcoming and recent events on the Sport and Racing tabs (horse, greyhound and harness racing). Linking bets to events enables automatic resulting and event-level analytics.

Browsing Events

• The date box picks a single day and is blank by default; the sport, league, country, track and race type dropdowns filter only the events already loaded, so change the date if one is missing.
• My events only is on by default: only events you have bets on, newest first, with Pending, Bets and Profit columns, totals and pending events highlighted. Off, with no date, it shows the next seven days.

Event Detail

• Event name, date, sport or league, countdown, market status, liquidity and commission.
• No price list on screen: pick a runner in the Selection dropdown and its live price fills the Odds field, refreshing every 10 seconds for sport and 5 for racing while the market is open.
• Event analytics (profit, ROI, win rate, turnover, bets placed, profit by bookmaker and bet type), your bets on the event, an Add Bet form (any bookmaker, stake type, tags) and a panel of related promotions.

Placing Bets on Betfair

Bet placing is hidden until you enable it under Settings, Betfair, and needs a linked Betfair account set as the Bookmaker. Pick a runner and the back or lay side, enter stake and odds, then confirm - the dialog repeats event, selection, stake, odds, side and liability.

Cancel if unmatched means the order must be matched in full the instant it's placed, or it is cancelled. Any unmatched part of an order also lapses when the market turns in-play.

Placing an order doesn't track a bet in BetTrackr - record it yourself or let the hourly Betfair sync import it.

Linking Bets to Events

Link a bet to an event and runner when creating or editing it, and pending bets result themselves: a winning runner Won, a beaten runner Lost, a scratched runner Void, with lay bets inverted so a winner results as Lost. Each way bets result only on a win or a scratching. Sport settles at market close; racing waits for Betfair's starting prices, so a result can land well after the race finishes.

Trending

Trending shows you what the rest of the BetTrackr community is backing. It lists upcoming events that other BetTrackr users already have pending bets on, along with events carrying a live bookmaker promotion, so you can see where the money and the value are going before the jump. Trending is a Premium feature - see Premium - and you'll find it on the side navigation, marked with a flame icon. Everything on the page is anonymous: you see what the community is backing and in what proportion, never who placed a bet and never how many.

The Sport, Racing and Promotions tabs

Trending opens on the Sport tab. Switch to Racing for horse, harness and greyhound events, or to Promotions for a flat list of every live bookmaker offer - see Promotions for that tab. Changing tabs clears any filters you had set, because the filters differ from tab to tab.

Both the Sport and Racing tabs cover events starting in the next seven days. An event appears once the community is actually betting on it, or when it has a live promotion attached, so the list stays short and relevant rather than showing you the full fixture list. The list is capped, and when you're seeing the maximum the page tells you so above the first card - narrow the filters if you want to dig further. Use the Events page instead when you want to browse every event.

What an event card shows

Each event is one card. The header line is the summary, and the body breaks the community's bets down runner by runner.

The selection breakdown

Under the header each runner or selection that has attracted a pending bet gets a row: a bar and a percentage showing that selection's share of the community's pending bets on the event, with the most-backed selection highlighted. Equal favourites are all highlighted. Multi, same game multi and same race multi bets are left out of the breakdown, because their selections span more than one event and would distort the shares - see bet types.

Beside each selection sits Best odds: the highest price anyone has taken on that selection, with the icon of the bookmaker who paid it. It's a quick read on whether the price you're being shown is competitive.

On sport events, selections that match a known runner or team in the event also carry Betfair back and lay badges showing the last traded back and lay prices, so you can compare community sentiment against the exchange. Selections that aren't runners - player props, totals and similar markets - are tucked behind a Show more selections link so the main runners stay readable.

Promotions on an event card

When an event has live promotions attached, they're listed at the foot of the card, grouped under each bookmaker with a count. Tap a bookmaker to expand its offers. If you hold an account with that bookmaker, clicking a promotion opens your account panel so you can check your balance and bonuses before you bet - see Bookmaker Accounts.

Filters and sorting

The filter bar sits above the list and applies as soon as you change it. Only the values actually present in the current list are offered, so no filter choice can leave you with an empty page on its own.

Opening an event

Clicking the header of a card opens that event's detail page, where you get the market, your own bets, event analytics, an add bet form and the full promotions panel. From there you can add a bet and link it to the event so it results itself - see Events.

Promotions

BetTrackr collects the bonus offers, price boosts and specials the bookmakers are running, and puts them next to the events they apply to. You can browse them all in one list, or see just the offers attached to the event you're about to bet on.

Where promotions appear

• The Promotions tab on Trending - one flat, filterable list of every live promotion across the bookmakers, newest offers and expiring offers both easy to find. Trending is a Premium feature, so this list needs Premium - see Premium and Trending.
• The promotions panel on an event's detail page - the offers that apply to that one event, grouped by bookmaker with the first bookmaker already open. See Events.
• The foot of each event card on Trending - the same bookmaker groups, collapsed until you tap one.

What counts as a live promotion

A promotion is live while it hasn't passed its expiry date. Offers the bookmaker publishes without an expiry date count as live only while they've been seen recently, so stale offers drop off by themselves. Expired offers are never listed. The Promotions tab loads a capped number of offers at a time; when you're seeing the maximum, a note at the bottom of the list says so - narrow the filters to reach the rest.

What a promotion card shows

Seeing which events an offer covers

When an offer is tied to upcoming events, the card carries a line at the bottom naming the leagues or tracks it covers and how many upcoming events it applies to. Click that line to expand the list of those events, soonest first; the list loads the first time you open it. Each row links straight to the event's detail page so you can add your bet there.

Filters and sorting

The filter bar on the Promotions tab applies as soon as you change it. The bookmaker, promotion type and category dropdowns are built from the offers currently live, so every option leads somewhere.

The promotions panel on an event's detail page isn't filtered: it shows every live offer on that event, gubbed bookmakers included.

Promotions and your accounts

Clicking a promotion for a bookmaker you already hold an account with opens your account panel for that bookmaker, so you can check the balance, add the bonus bet the offer pays out, or record the bet without leaving the page. See bonus bets for recording bonuses so they're tracked and their expiry is watched. If you don't hold an account with that bookmaker, the promotion is simply listed for reference.

Always check the terms

Promotions are captured from the bookmakers' own pages and betslips. They can be changed, restricted to certain customers, or pulled entirely at any time, and the wording here is a summary rather than the full conditions. Always confirm the current terms with the bookmaker before placing a bet on the strength of an offer.

Black Book

The Black Book is your personal watchlist of runners - horses, greyhounds or sport players - you want to keep an eye on. When a runner you're following is competing, BetTrackr can notify you so you don't miss the event. It's a Premium feature.

Adding Runners

On the Black Book page, type at least two characters into the Add a Runner search box and pick a name from the results; the runner is added straight away, with no separate save step. The selector beside the search box starts on Sport, so switch it to Racing before looking for a horse or greyhound. Results are grouped by sport and capped at 50 matches, so keep typing to narrow them down. Sport runners are recorded with their league, so the same player in two competitions is two entries. You can also use Add to Black Book on the selection row of the bet form.

Your Black Book can hold up to 20 runners in total across racing and sport. Remove a runner any time to free up a slot.

Notifications

Each runner has a notification toggle (the bell icon), on by default. While it's on, BetTrackr alerts you 24 hours, 6 hours and 1 hour before the runner next competes, including the event name and start time. Runners starting in the same hour are bundled into a single notification, and once the event is finalised a follow-up tells you how the runner went.

Alerts reach you through the channels you've enabled under Notifications. Note that Black Book alerts are only sent while email notifications are switched on - turning email notifications off stops every Black Book alert, in-app and push included.

Viewing a Runner

Clicking a Black Book entry opens a detail panel with an Events tab, showing upcoming events plus recent ones marked won, lost or void, and a Bets tab listing your pending and resulted bets on that runner. Your note lives here too and saves as soon as you click away from the note box. It's a quick way to review form before deciding whether to back them next start.

Dashboard

The BetTrackr Dashboard is your central hub for tracking and analysing all your betting activity. It is organised into sections you switch between - Overview, Profit, Bonus Bets and Bookmakers - each providing a different lens on your performance. You can also add a section of your own and choose which widgets appear in each one.

Filters

The filter bar sits at the top of the dashboard and applies to the whole dashboard. Filters can be applied individually or in combination:

• Period - All Time, Today, Yesterday, This Week, This Month, This Year, Last Week, Last Month, Last 3 Months, or Last Year.
• Bookmaker - a single bookmaker account.
• Bet Type - e.g. Qualifying, Mug, Lay, Arb.
• Bet Tag - any of your custom tags.
• Sport - a single sport, e.g. Horse Racing or AFL.

The date a period is measured against depends on the metric. Figures about results - Profit, ROI, Avg. Daily Profit, Commission Paid - use the date each bet was resulted. Figures about activity - Bets Placed, Turnover, Avg. Odds, Avg. Stake, Mug Bet Rate, Exposure, Pending, Avg. CLV, Beat Line % - use the date each bet was placed.

Some widgets ignore filters, because they describe your accounts as they are now rather than a period of betting. Bank Roll follows the bookmaker filter only, while Bonus Balance, Cashflow, the Bonus Balances table, the Bookmaker Balances chart and the Calendar ignore the filters entirely.

If you have a bookmaker context active, the dashboard will automatically filter to that bookmaker.

Key Metrics

Key metrics are the small stat tiles at the top of a section, and they update as you change your filters. Every tile below can be switched on or off in edit mode, so your dashboard may not show all of them.

Above the tiles, a progress bar tracks your profit goal. It always appears - with no goal set it invites you to set one. Progress follows the period you selected and ignores your other filters, so it always measures the whole goal. This Week, This Month and This Year use their matching goal and show the days remaining; Today, Yesterday and All Time show progress against your all time goal; Last 3 Months has no matching goal.

Dashboard Tabs

Overview

The default view, in four parts:

• A row of stat tiles - by default Profit, Bank Roll, ROI, Win Rate, Bonus Retention, Mug Bet Rate, Avg. Daily Profit, Turnover and Exposure, all swappable in edit mode.
• A chart carousel showing one chart at a time - Profit Over Time, CLV Over Time, Profit by Bookmaker and Profit by Sport. Swipe on a phone or use the arrows; each chart loads as you reach it.
• An interactive Calendar of your results by date, with month, year and day views. It follows the bookmaker, bet type, tag and sport filters and lists the ones that are on under its title, or says "All bets" when none are. It has its own date navigation, so the period menu doesn't apply to it.
• A side column with a Bonus Bets summary card - your available bonus value, the bookmakers holding the most of it and any bonuses expiring soon, each clicking through to the detail - plus upcoming Events and your recent and pending Bets.

Profit

Dedicated profit analysis, with charts for:

• Profit Over Time - cumulative profit, with your cumulative expected value plotted alongside it
• Profit by Date - daily profit breakdown
• Profit by Tag - profit per custom tag
• Profit by Bookmaker - your five best and five worst bookmakers
• Profit by Sport - profit distribution by sport
• Profit by Bet Type - profit by bet type
• CLV Over Time - how your closing line value is trending

Bonus Bets

Focused on bonus bet tracking:

• Bonuses by Date - the bonuses you were awarded over time, and how many. It is driven by bets that settled as Bonus Refund or Bonus Cash Refund, so it shows what you earned in the period, not what you are holding
• Bonus Balances - a table of the bonus value you still hold at each bookmaker, from your unused coupons. Accounts with no bonus left are hidden, and a "Value at 70% Retention" column estimates what those bonuses are really worth - the percentage in that heading is your retention target. Ignores the dashboard filters
• Bonuses by Bookmaker - bonus breakdown per bookmaker

Bookmakers

Bookmaker level analytics:

• Bookmaker Mug Bet Rates - your ten highest mug bet percentages by bookmaker
• Bookmaker Win Rates - your ten highest win rates by bookmaker, counting accounts with more than one bet
• Bookmaker Balances - where your bank roll is sitting, for your ten largest positive balances. Ignores the dashboard filters
• Bookmaker Bet Types - bet type distribution across your top twenty bookmakers, excluding Betfair

Customisation

Two menus sit beside the filters. The Sections menu (the grid icon) switches between sections and holds Add Section. The Dashboard options menu (the gear icon) holds the Edit Mode switch and Reset Dashboard.

You can have up to five sections, and the four built-in sections count toward that, so you can add one of your own unless you delete a built-in section first. Overview cannot be deleted. Section names can be up to 25 characters.

Turn on Edit Mode to change what a section contains: add, remove and swap widgets, and tick which stat tiles appear - every metric in the Key Metrics table above is available. The widget picker also offers a Turnover group - Turnover by Date, Turnover by Tag and Turnover by Bookmaker - which is not on any section until you add it. Reset Dashboard puts every section, widget and tile back to the defaults.

Widgets with a period of their own carry a menu on the widget, offering the same ten periods as the filter bar. Choosing one overrides the dashboard period for that widget only and reloads just that widget - handy for putting an all time chart beside a this month chart. Those same widgets can be expanded to full width on a desktop screen. Widgets without a period - Bonus Balances, Bookmaker Balances, Events, Bets, the Bonus Bets summary and the Calendar - have neither the period menu nor the expand option.

Reports

BetTrackr Reports let you download branded PDF summaries of your betting performance. Reports are a Premium feature, on the Reports page under Tools in the sidebar.

Report Types

Monthly & weekly reports

The Period list offers This Month, Last Month (the default), This Week, Last Week, and For a specific month..., which reveals separate Month and Year dropdowns. Weeks run Monday to Sunday, and periods beginning with "This" end today. Download PDF builds the report on the spot. A period with no bets shows a "No bets found" message and produces no PDF.

Annual reports

Annual periods are This Year (the default), Last Year, This FY, Last FY (the financial year, 1 July to 30 June), and For a specific year..., which reveals a Year dropdown covering this year and the ten before it. Generate & Email PDF runs in the background and emails you the PDF when it's ready. Only one runs at a time, queuing behind imports, bulk deletes and Bet Doctor runs.

What's included

Auto Monthly Reports

BetTrackr can generate a report at the start of each month covering the month just finished. To switch it on or off, go to My Account → Notifications → Send me → Reports. The master Email notifications switch above the categories must be on too.

It arrives three ways: in the app, as an email with the PDF attached, and as a push notification. Nothing is sent at all - not even the in-app copy - if your account can't be emailed, for instance when your address isn't verified. Auto monthly reports are Premium, and a month with no bets produces nothing.

Journal

The Journal is a place to record thoughts, reflections, and notes about your betting: how you felt, what was working, and any lessons for the next session. Each entry sits beside that date's bets, so you can review decisions in context. The Journal is a Premium feature.

Adding Entries

A compose box sits permanently at the top of the Journal, so there's no separate new-entry step: type into the What's on your mind... box, set the fields beside it, then choose Save Entry. Each entry has:

• Date: defaults to today, but you can backdate or edit later if you're catching up.
• Entry text: free-form notes. Anything that helps you reflect: emotional state, strategy notes, observations on a sport or market.
• Rating: an optional 1–5 star self-assessment. Leave the stars untouched to skip it; a rated entry can be changed to a different number, but not back to none.

Every entry has an Edit (pencil) button for its text, date and rating, and a Delete (bin) that removes it permanently.

Reviewing Sessions

Entries are listed newest first and grouped by date. Below each date's entries is a summary bar with that date's bet count and profit or loss, so you can read your notes next to your actual results. Select the bet count to expand the day's bets - Selection, Bet Type, Odds, Stake, P&L and Notes - and select a row to open a bet.

Bets are counted on the day they were resulted, so one placed on Friday and settled on Sunday appears under Sunday; pending bets sit under the day you placed them, and although they're in the count they're left out of the profit or loss.

Use the Journal to spot patterns over time: weeks where ratings trend down, or days where strategy notes line up with losing streaks.

Tools

Back/Lay Calculator

The Back/Lay Calculator works out the lay stake and expected profit for matched betting. It is a Premium feature in the Tools section of the sidebar or header menu.

Enter your Stake, Odds, Lay Odds and Lay Commission % to see the required Lay Stake, the return on each outcome, and the liability to hold in your Betfair account. Lay Commission % starts at 6, and is replaced by the event's commission when you pick an event. You can type over the lay stake, nudge it with the Underlay/Overlay slider, and copy it.

The stake type dropdown beside the Stake field picks the scenario: Cash, SNR or SR. Only SNR changes the maths - the bonus stake isn't returned, so it needs a smaller lay stake. Cash and SR give identical figures. See SNR vs SR.

To save the pair, expand Track Bets, choose the Back Bookmaker account and the Selection, then Save Bets. Two pending bets are created, linked in a Bet Group so combined profit and bonus retention track as a pair. The lay bet always goes to your Betfair account; Back Bookmaker sets only the back leg.

Popout Mode

Any side-panel page, including the Back/Lay Calculator, can be reopened with the button in its header. It opens as a separate browser popup window, moved and resized like any other window rather than dragged around inside BetTrackr, and the panel closes behind it. The button is desktop only, and only panels with a full page of their own pop out correctly - useful for keeping the calculator beside Betfair.

Bet Doctor

The Bet Doctor scans your bets for common issues and discrepancies - like a back and lay bet that should be grouped, or a bet whose dates don't line up with its event - and helps you fix them, often with a single click. Open it from the Bet Doctor link under Tools in the sidebar. Whenever issues are waiting for you, an outlined warning chip showing ! appears beside that link, and on the Tools menu while it's collapsed. Resolving from a bet form means opening the bet for editing, a Premium feature.

What the Doctor Checks

Each check is shown as a pill at the top of the page with a badge counting how many bets it found; the first pill, Missing Event/Runner Link, is selected when the page opens. Select a pill to see the affected bets in a table, with the problem and exactly what would change if you resolve it. Results are cached briefly, so use Refresh after changing bets elsewhere.

Resolving Issues

You can fix issues a few ways:

• Resolve All - fixes every bet for the selected check at once, and only that check.
• Resolve selected - tick individual bets in the table and use the bulk Resolve action.
• From the bet itself - when you open a bet that has an issue, the Bet Doctor alert appears on the bet form so you can resolve it in place.

Resolve All and the bulk actions can touch a lot of data, so they run in the background - you'll see a progress spinner and the table refreshes when they finish. Resolving from a bet form applies immediately instead.

Issue Status

The Status column shows how each issue is handled:

If an issue is a deliberate choice on your part, select the affected bets and use the bulk Suppress action, which asks you to confirm, or use Suppress all on the bet's Doctor alert. Suppression works per bet rather than per check: it silences all five checks for that bet, so keep it for bets you've decided are correct as they stand. Closing a Doctor alert with its close button only hides it for that view.

Auto-fix

With Enable Auto-fix on, the Bet Doctor runs in the background every 15 minutes and resolves any issue with the Auto status, so your bet data stays clean without visiting the page. Manual issues, including every mismatched bonus bet type, are never changed automatically.

Auto-fix is on unless you turn it off. If you've never changed the switch, it covers bets tracked since it became the default, and older bets are listed for you to Resolve. Turn it off and on again to include them.

When a run fixes something, a notification tells you how many issues were resolved - in the app, by email and as a push notification - under the Account activity category. Auto-fix is available on every plan.

Profit Goals

Setting profit goals helps you stay focused and motivated by tracking your progress over time. Whether you're betting casually or with a strategy, having clear targets lets you measure success and build better habits.

You can set your profit goals in the Goals section of My Account.

• Measure Performance: Easily see how you’re progressing over a set period.
• Stay Motivated: Hitting goals feels good and encourages positive momentum.

Goal Periods

You can set goals across the following periods:

Tracking your progress

Each goal has a progress bar in the Goals section showing your profit so far, the percentage of the goal reached and how much is left to go. A progress bar also appears on the Dashboard, under your total profit, whenever the dashboard period matches a goal you have set, with the days remaining when you are looking at this week, this month or this year. Reach the target and the bar reads as complete; with no goal set, it offers a link to set one.

Goal notifications

BetTrackr tells you when you hit a goal, by in-app notification, email and mobile push. There is no notification for missing one, and no progress summary in between.

Weekly, monthly and yearly goals are checked at the end of each period against the period that just finished: your weekly goal every Monday against last week, your monthly goal on the 1st against last month, and your yearly goal on 1 January against last year.

Your All Time goal is checked daily, so you are told on the next check after your total profit reaches it, once only. Raise your All Time goal above your current total profit and it arms again for the new figure.

Goal messages belong to the Goals category, so you can turn them all off in Notifications.

Note: Set a goal to 0, or leave it blank, to mute that period. It is no longer tracked or notified, and your other goal periods carry on as normal.

Notifications

BetTrackr sends notifications to keep you informed about your bets, your bookmaker accounts and your results. You choose which ones reach you from the Notifications section of My Account.

Notification channels: in-app, email and mobile push

BetTrackr has three notification channels:

• In-app - the bell icon in the BetTrackr web app. Every notification you are eligible for appears here, and this channel cannot be switched off.
• Email - sent to your account email address. Email is controlled by the master Email notifications switch and by the five category switches described under Managing notifications.
• Mobile push - push notifications on your phone. Push is opt-in and only available in the BetTrackr mobile app: install the app, sign in, and allow notifications when prompted. Push notifications are off until you do that, and they use the same five categories as email.

Notification types and their categories

The Category column shows which category switch controls each notification, and the Channels column shows where it can reach you. Not every notification is sent on every channel.

There is no "goal progress" notification: goal notifications only fire when you hit a goal, never when you fall short of one.

Idle bookmaker account alerts

BetTrackr will notify you if a bookmaker account is holding a cash balance and you have not placed a bet with it for more than 30 days. This is a fund management reminder - it may be worth deciding whether to keep those funds there or withdraw them, as idle money in a bookmaker account is not earning anything.

The alert repeats while the account stays idle, so you will keep being reminded until you place a bet, move the money, or mute the account.

If you deliberately want to keep funds at a bookmaker without being alerted, open that bookmaker account and turn on the Ignore Idle Alert toggle. That mutes the idle alert for that account only.

Expiring bonus bet alerts

If you have a bonus bet or deposit bonus expiring within 3 days that has not been used on a bet yet, BetTrackr will remind you. The reminder lists each bonus with its amount, bookmaker and expiry date, giving you time to use it before it expires. It repeats while the bonus stays unused inside that 3-day window.

Bonus expiry dates are set automatically from your Bonus bet expiry setting when a bonus is created, and you can also set the expiry date manually when adding a bonus.

Managing notifications in My Account

All notification preferences live under My Account → Notifications. Changes save automatically.

• Email notifications is the master switch. Turn it off and BetTrackr stops sending you general email. Critical emails - such as password resets and email verification - are always sent regardless of this setting.
• Below the master switch are five category toggles: System (releases and fixes), Account activity (bets resulted or imported and other account events), Reports (your end-of-month breakdown), Goals (profit goals) and Marketing (offers and promotions). Each one has its own switch, and turning a category off mutes both its emails and its mobile push notifications.
• Some alerts are switched off entirely when email notifications are off, not just on the email channel: pending bets to result reminders and Black Book runner alerts both stop on every channel.
• A few notifications are also controlled per bookmaker account - the Ignore Idle Alert toggle on a bookmaker account mutes the idle alert for that account.

Using the notification bell

The bell icon in the app header shows your unread in-app notifications with a count. Clicking a notification opens the related page and removes it from the list - there is no separate read or unread state, so a notification you have clicked is gone. Clear all removes every notification at once.

Notifications are kept for about 90 days and are then removed automatically, so the bell always reflects recent activity rather than your full history.

Account Settings

Every setting in BetTrackr lives in one place: the My Account panel, which you open from your name or avatar in the top-right of any page.

My Account is a two-level panel. The first level is a short menu grouped into Betting, Account and Security & appearance, with Sign out and Danger zone at the bottom. Choosing a menu item opens that section; the back arrow beside the section title returns you to the menu.

Where each setting lives in My Account

Preferences, Profile and Goals hold your edits until you choose Save changes, and warn you if you leave with unsaved changes. The notification toggles, the Betfair sync toggles, the Betfair commission discount and the appearance theme all save the moment you change them.

Integrations: Betfair and email import

Integrations connects BetTrackr to the other places your betting happens.

Betfair account linking

BetTrackr connects directly to Betfair through a link you authorise on Betfair's own site, so BetTrackr never sees your Betfair password. The Betfair card is in the Integrations section of My Account.

How to link your Betfair account

1. Open My Account and choose Integrations.
2. Choose Link Betfair account, then sign in to Betfair and authorise BetTrackr.
3. You are returned to BetTrackr with the Betfair card showing as linked.

What you can do once linked

Hourly sync options

Betfair commission discount

Your Commission discount is set in the Betfair card and is only shown while your Betfair account is linked. It saves as you change it, and the hourly balance update overwrites it with the figure Betfair reports. BetTrackr applies the discount when calculating profit on your Betfair bets.

Goals and tags

Goals sets your profit targets for all time, this year, this month and this week, and shows a progress bar against each. See Profit Goals.

Tags opens the tag list, where you add, rename, recolour and delete the tags you attach to bets, so you can measure a strategy or service separately. See Bet Tags.

Notifications: email preferences

The Notifications section controls which emails BetTrackr sends you. Changes save automatically.

Critical emails such as password resets and email verification are always sent, whatever these switches say, because you need them to get back into your account. For what each notification actually contains, see Notifications.

Profile: alias, name, email and timezone

Your profile is your identity in BetTrackr.

Subscription and billing

The Subscription section shows whether you have Premium access and why, your plan name and status, and the date, plan and amount of your next payment.

Manage billing opens the secure Stripe billing portal in a new tab, where you can update your payment method, download invoices, change plan or cancel. If you have cancelled and change your mind before the period ends, Renew subscription turns your subscription back on. On the free plan, View plans shows what Premium includes.

Security: changing your password

The Security section is where you change your password. Enter your current password, then your new password twice. A new password must be at least 8 characters. If you cannot remember the current one, sign out and use the forgotten password link on the sign-in page instead.

Appearance: choosing a theme

Appearance chooses how BetTrackr looks, and applies instantly with no save needed. There are three themes: Brand Navy, the dark blue default; Carbon, pure black, which suits OLED screens and low light; and Light, a light background.

Your theme is remembered for the device and browser you are using rather than saved to your account, so you can run Light on your laptop and Carbon on your phone. Clearing your browser data resets it to Brand Navy.

Danger zone

Each action asks you to type DELETE to confirm, so a stray click cannot wipe your history. Once confirmed, the delete runs in the background and BetTrackr shows an in-progress message while it works.

Premium and billing

BetTrackr comes in two plans: Free and Premium. The Free plan tracks your bets, bookmaker accounts, balances and profit. Premium adds the parts of BetTrackr that do the work for you - automatic tracking from your bookmaker's site, deeper analysis, and the tools built on top of your betting history.

Every new account starts with a free trial of Premium, and after that Premium is a subscription. Whichever way you get there, the app behaves the same and your plan is always shown in My Account under Subscription.

What Premium unlocks

Premium features include the following. This is a guide to what Premium is for rather than a complete list, and the set grows over time.

Some notifications are Premium as well. The automatic monthly report - the one that arrives at the start of each month covering the month just finished - and Black Book alerts both need Premium. See Notifications for the full set of email categories and how to switch them on and off.

Your free trial

Every new account gets 7 days of Premium free. No card is needed to start it and nothing is charged when it ends - if you do nothing, the account simply becomes a Free account.

The 7 days start from the moment your email address is verified, not from the moment you first log in, so verifying promptly gives you the full week. Verifying your email is a required step anyway - see Verifying your email address.

While the trial is running, the Subscription section of My Account tells you how many days are left. If you subscribe during the trial you are treated as a subscriber from that point, not a trialist.

Bonusbank members

BetTrackr and Bonusbank are partners - BetTrackr is the bet tracker Bonusbank recommends to its members.

Account linking between Bonusbank and BetTrackr is no longer offered for new connections. If your accounts are already linked, they stay linked and nothing changes on your side - a link simply connects the two services and does not affect your BetTrackr plan; Premium is managed here through your subscription.

Subscribing

To subscribe, open the pricing page. You can get there from the Upgrade chip in the header, from the View plans link in the Subscription section of My Account, or from the prompt shown on any Premium page you open on a Free account. All three open the same pricing page in a new tab, where you choose a plan and pay.

Payments are handled by Stripe. BetTrackr never sees or stores your card details. Once Stripe confirms the payment, Premium switches on for your account.

Managing or cancelling your subscription

Everything about an active subscription lives in My Account under Subscription. See also Subscription and billing.

Cancelling does not cut Premium off on the spot. You keep Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for, and the account moves to the Free plan after that.

The Premium and Upgrade chip

The chip in the top-right of the header, next to your profile icon, always tells you which plan you are on. It also appears in the profile menu, which is where to look on a narrow screen.

• A blue Upgrade chip means you are on the Free plan. Clicking it opens the pricing page.
• A Premium chip means Premium is active. Clicking it opens the Subscription section of My Account, which spells out why - trial or subscription - and how long it lasts.

When Premium ends

When a trial runs out or a subscription is cancelled, the account goes back to the Free plan.

Nothing is deleted. Every bet, bookmaker account, transaction, bonus, tag, goal, journal entry and Black Book runner stays exactly as it was. Premium pages simply show an upgrade prompt in place of the feature, and the chip in the header goes back to Upgrade. Subscribe again and everything reappears untouched - there is nothing to restore or re-import.

BetTrackr AI ✨

BetTrackr AI is the built-in assistant. Ask a question in plain English and it answers from this documentation, or looks up your own account figures when that is what you are after. It is the quickest way to find something without reading a whole help section.

Where to find it

BetTrackr AI is available on every page once you are logged in.

• On a desktop or wide screen, there is an ask box in the middle of the header. Type your question and press Enter.
• On smaller screens, there is a floating ✨ BetTrackr AI pill in the bottom corner. Tap it to open the chat panel.

Either way the answer opens in a panel where you can keep asking follow-up questions, and close it when you are done.

What it can help with

BetTrackr AI answers questions about using BetTrackr - tracking and editing bets, bookmaker accounts and balances, importing, the Chrome extension, the calculators, reports, notifications, settings, and the terms and privacy policy. Answers are grounded in this documentation: it searches the help content and reads the relevant page before answering, rather than guessing.

Asking about your own numbers

BetTrackr AI can also see a snapshot of your own account statistics, so you can ask things like "what's my ROI this month" or "how many bets do I have pending" and get a straight answer. The snapshot covers your first name and plan, your all-time and this-month profit, your pending bet count, your total number of bets, your win rate, your return on investment, your turnover, your average daily profit and your bonus retention.

These are the same figures BetTrackr has already calculated and shows on your dashboard - the assistant quotes them as they are rather than working anything out for itself, so they always match what you see in the app. Ask for a figure that is not in the snapshot and it will say it cannot see that rather than guess. BetTrackr AI only ever sees your own account, never anyone else's.

What it won't do

BetTrackr AI sticks to BetTrackr and to safe, responsible use of it. It will not give betting tips, odds predictions or financial advice, and will not tell you what to bet on.
